Minimum Qualifications: Background in Biomedical sciences / Pharma / Biotech.
At least 5 years of experience in the biotechnology industry.
Deep knowledge in protein purification and chromatography.
Hands-on experience in FPLC chromatographic units and filtration (tangential flow filtration, depth filtrations, etc).
Knowledge of GMP and ICH regulatory guidelines is a plus.
Knowledge of nucleic acids and purification experience is a plus.
Able to work in a cross-functional approach and independently with minimal supervision.
Proactive and critical thinker.
Team player in an evolving environment.
Strong communication skills.
Based in the Barcelona area.
Tasks and Responsibilities: Take the lead in assigned project development (development plan and design of experiments).
Lead and execute process development programs at lab scale and pilot scale manufacturing batches.
Author required technical documentation (reports, batch record documents, SOPs, etc).
Critically evaluate experimental results and suggest following activities.
Prepare technical proposals for scale-up processes.
Participate in lab management tasks.
Responsible for the performance of operational activities to the required quality and on time according to project timelines and senior scientist indications.
Responsible for reporting results according to company documentation standards.
Work under SOP procedures at expected quality standards.
