THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT AT TIERCollaborate with different teams and stakeholders (Data Engineering, Infrastructure, AI and other data teams) to enable data-driven decision-making in the organization.Maintain and optimise existing tooling used by different data teams as well as doing POCs on new tools to improve our stack (ETLEAP, Snowflake, DBT, Looker).Add new data sources into our workflows and enable other teams to turn those data products into insights, analyses, and dashboards.Define and refine processes that enable and encourage self-service as much as possible.Develop & implement best practices, development standards & guidelines for data team members.Ensure that data is modelled to the highest standards of quality & communicate the shortcomings of a dataset to data scientists & analysts prior to consumption.YOU'LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSAt least 2 years of experience in data as an analyst or an engineer.A passion for identifying optimisation opportunities in existing processes and implementing them.Experience working with Python (e.g., writing scripts to fetch data from third-party APIs).Intermediate-advanced SQL skills - you can solve the problem with the most efficient SQL considering the underlying data warehouse, data volume, and loading methods.You are the bridge between the analytics & the platform team, organising, defining & translating requirements of event collection & quality.You are structured at work, able to handle and prioritise your tasks well in an ambiguous environment.You can communicate complex problems to technical and business users in simple language.NICE TO HAVE'S FOR THE BONUS POINTSExperience working with schedulers (Airflow, Prefect, etc).Experience working with infrastructure as code (Terraform).Participation in code & design review.
