Data Engineer - [Swv065]

Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data team. This is a hybrid role split between our site in Madrid and remote working. This is a great opportunity to join us as we enter the next phase of our growth. You will be responsible for delivering Data Management & Engineering solutions to support operational and business needs including performance, data quality, and other requirements.
We would like you to: Cleanse and model data to support new services and products.Collaborate with Volta stakeholders to understand their data and use cases.Transpose stakeholder requirements into data management solutions to best support the business.Thoroughly develop and test the solutions.Collaborate and support the wider Volta team in the development of methodologies, data engineering processes, and deliverables.We would like you to have: Strong programming experience with Python, Scala, and SQL.Comfort building and maintaining ETL pipelines in Azure Data Factory.A good background in Data Warehousing using principles such as Kimball and Data Vault.Proficiency in Databricks, data lakes, Service principles, and Key vaults.A solid understanding of CI/CD practices.Commercial experience using Snowflake. (While commercial experience is preferred, please don't be put off if you haven't used it within your role but still have a decent understanding.)About us: Urban delivery is currently one of the most polluting activities in our cities.
