About the role As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining the foundational infrastructure and architectures necessary for large-scale data processing and analysis. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to ensure the seamless processing, ingestion, and accessibility of data. This role involves working with modern technologies to enable innovative solutions, scalability, and impactful analytics. These professionals are in charge of: Design and develop batch and streaming data pipelines to process structured and unstructured data. Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows to extract, transform, and store data for analytical use. Guarantee the quality and consistency of the data Use SQL to design scalable data models and perform advanced analytics. Optimize database performance and data warehouses Develop and maintain APIs for secure and efficient data access. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and optimize availability on our Data Platform. What are we looking for? 3 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role. It would be an advantage if you have a Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Expertise in a major data processing framework like Apache Spark , Flink, or similar. Proficiency in Python ; experience with other programming languages is a plus. Deep understanding of SQL for data manipulation and querying and relational databases such as Postgres. You are familiar with cloud environments , preferably AWS , but it is valuable if you have worked with GCP or Azure. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes . Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Strong understanding of data modeling techniques , including experience with star schema , data vault , or similar methodologies for designing scalable and efficient data architectures. Understanding of data architecture patterns, ETL processes, and distributed data systems. Experience designing and implementing architectures for ML Model Serving Experience with version control systems You are a proactive problem solver. You bring positive energy to our company.
