Keep reading!Job DescriptionThis role focuses on efficiently updating and managing media databases, using Excel as the primary tool. The ability to work accurately and swiftly in Excel is crucial for success in this position.How you'd spend your day:Responsibilities:Update consolidated databases of all media campaigns weekly in terms of investment and KPIs, such as impressions, using advanced Excel skills.Analyze media data in detail and generate periodic reports for the team.Collaborate with the econometric modeling team to provide updated data and support in integration into existing models.Contribute to understanding the impact of media on business outcomes through data analysis.Requirements:Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros.Previous experience in updating and managing media databases.Ability to analyze media data and draw meaningful conclusions.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Basic knowledge of media KPIs and performance metrics (preferred but not required).QualificationsThe ideal profile for this role, focused on Excel proficiency and automation of tasks, would include individuals with the following knowledge and skills:Advanced Excel: Ability to use advanced Excel functions, such as complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, and process automation to streamline database updates.Process Automation: Experience in identifying opportunities to automate repetitive tasks in Excel using macros, scripts, or other automation tools.Error Monitoring: Skill in identifying and correcting potential errors in updated data, as well as implementing quality controls to ensure data accuracy.Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex problems and find efficient and effective solutions using Excel tools and automation techniques.Continuous Improvement Orientation: Interest in continuously seeking ways to optimize database update processes, improve efficiency, and reduce errors.In summary, the ideal candidate for this role would be someone with advanced Excel skills, experience in process automation, ability to identify and correct errors, analytical thinking, and a focus on continuous improvement in managing media databases
