This company has developed successful projects in the renewable sector in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, and Spain, with a portfolio of around 300 MW in photovoltaic projects, mostly in the area of Saragossa, starting with the construction of the first 22 MW.Position GoalsThe Site Manager will act as the owner's representative for the construction of the company's photovoltaic portfolio in Spain. Responsibilities include overseeing construction, tracking the project budget, and keeping the project on schedule, ensuring the quality of the construction and the administration of the contract, and eventually assuming some responsibilities in the O&M of the projects.Responsibilities and FunctionsAct as the Owner's representative by adding value to the construction of photovoltaic power plants that meet or exceed industry standards.Ensure that the Contractor is working in accordance with health and safety regulations.Represent the Owner in a professional and ethical manner at all times.Work to mitigate change orders and ensure that construction is carried out correctly, minimizing the Owner's risk.Ensure that the contractors perform and provide the products planned in the contract.Supervise the daily construction activities on-site, including job scheduling and delivery of equipment and materials.Review presentations, drawings, technical documents, and reports during the design phase of the project to avoid possible issues in construction.Review and comment on construction facilities (e.G., excavation of ditches, cabling, structures, photovoltaic panels).Supervise construction and regularly inform about job progress, budget status, and schedule status to project and corporate management verbally and through reports.Manage contractual documents such as requests for information and change orders, preparing them for revision and approval by management.Review, interpret, and provide comments on contractor documents.Review, verify, and approve the contractor's progress bills.Review all engineering documents, commissioning reports, quality warranty documents, and quality control reports made by the contractor, coordinating with internal/external engineering as necessary.Work with the Owner's operations staff, asset manager, and O&M supplier to facilitate field visits and document reviews before substantial project completion and commercial operation date.Travel as necessary between project locations to meet with the Owner's site representative and the Contractor to resolve issues/questions.Manage daily representation of the Owner on-site to keep records of construction activities, issues, and material deliveries.Review in detail the daily reports of the Owner's site representative
