Mission: We are a forward-thinking financial institution committed to innovation in digital assets and blockchain technology. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a talented and experienced legal advisor in cryptoasset advisory to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Regulation of Crypto-Assets (MiCA), blockchain technology, digital assets, and experience in investment products and services will be valued, with a passion for shaping the future of banking.
As part of our legal team, you will work alongside cross-functional teams to develop strategies, manage legal risks and support the integration of new products and services. Responsibilities: Advise on the implementation and application of MiCA and other relevant regulations related to investment services at both European and national levels.Provide guidance on regulatory developments and ensure the organization is prepared to comply with evolving legal frameworks, particularly in crypto-assets and investment services.Offer legal expertise on the marketing and distribution of financial products, including those linked to crypto-assets and traditional investments.Support the design and legal approval of innovative investment solutions and services, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements.Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients and providers, ensuring compliance throughout the lifecycle of services and products.Monitor and manage ongoing legal obligations arising from agreements related to crypto-assets and investment services.Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure marketing campaigns are aligned with the legal frameworks by reviewing advertising and promotional materials for crypto-assets and investment products, ensuring they meet all regulatory standards.Provide legal advice to cross-functional teams, including business, operations, and customer service, on regulatory and compliance matters.Assist in the approval process for launching new functionalities, services, or products in Spain and other jurisdictions.Serve as a liaison with regulatory authorities, auditors, and external legal entities.To be successful in the role you must have: Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in legal advice on digital assets (Crypto assets).Strong understanding of major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins, as well as knowledge of various blockchain protocols, advertising campaigns and its applicable regulation (MiCAR).Experience in investment products and services (minimum 5 years), especially marketing and distribution of investment funds, securities, and advertising campaigns with them would be an asset.Degree in Spanish Law. Fully qualified lawyer. LLM in Banking and relevant certifications in Cryptoassets (is a plus).Fluent in English (C1).Would you like to grow with us? Join our team!
