Role Context As a Contracts Manager, you will utilize in-depth knowledge, advanced problem-solving skills and an awareness of Worley priorities to translate strategic direction into tactical plans and implementation activities.
You'll be able to develop conclusions from analyses and apply results to Worley business operations.
Accountabilities You'll be Make independent decisions and set priorities related to complex situations.
Manage smaller projects, or portions of larger projects.
Responsible for the daily administration of project related policies and processes in order for the project to meet business objectives.
Work with self-initiated interaction with supervisor and self-initiated technical guidance.
Manage and direct work directly or through supervisors or professionals leading others.
Complete contract assignments for all phases of contractual undertakings.
Understand and apply a thorough knowledge of the principles governing the business terms and conditions of contract being negotiated.
Identify, solicit and select reliable contractors to supply consultant, specialty and construction services to support project execution.
Negotiate terms and conditions, prepare contracts, monitor contractor performance and delivery of services to meet objectives.
Provide agreed approvals and supporting documentation for payment of invoices to ensure the required services to Worley and its clients.
You'll have Academic Background University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline.
Experience 10+ years of relevant experience including supervisory, project management and/or technical experience.
Technical Knowledge Advanced understanding of systems, processes and tools related to field.
Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues.
May be involved in the development of new systems, processes and tools.
Soft Skills Effectively communicate and take a leadership role in preparing and presenting proposals and reports to staff and management.
Ability to persuade and influence others.
Ability to recognize and resolve conflict.
