With a comprehensive global footprint, we design, develop, manufacture, and integrate an extensive range of driveline technologies for over 90% of the world's car manufacturers.
Role Purpose This role is a Lean Thinker to assist with Lean Transformation which will play a pivotal role in developing the site into a Lean enterprise based upon GKN Automotive's Lean approach.
They will support lean projects, ensuring rigor and fidelity to the Lean roadmap of GKN Automotive.
The role will implement functional systems and solutions with a focus on scalability, automation, reliability, security, and quality.
Perform root cause analysis of production errors, help resolve issues, assist with design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance, and build tools to reduce error occurrence.
Key Responsibilities Personal Capability Building: Develop and maintain excellent process or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
Manufacturing Methods/Processes Development: Implement improvements in manufacturing methods and processes and provide feedback on the changes.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to reviewing existing operations in own area of work, and generate new ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements.
Procedural Improvement: Contribute to procedural improvement by proposing enhancements to current working practices, based on personal experience of operating processes.
Improvement/Innovation: Implement improvements and provide feedback on them.
Use change management systems and protocols to provide routine support services.
Project Management: Support others by carrying out a range of project management activities.
Project Reporting and Review: Contribute to project and program reporting and review by organizing meetings and by preparing project and/or program papers (e.g., agendas, reports, and presentations).

Essential Qualifications & Experience B.S Degree in Engineering or related field.
English proficiency.
Visa and Passport desirable.
3 years minimum experience in the Automotive industry in lean manufacturing or related areas.
