NoOffer Description The Community of Madrid is an international technology hub in the aerospace sector, specifically in structural composites used for lightweight applications. The base material for manufacturing such structures is carbon fibre pre-impregnated with a polymer resin. The intelligent manufacture of raw pre-impregnated materials is the basis of the proposed industrial doctorate. The aim is to conduct research related to the development and correlation at the pilot plant level of predictive models based on artificial intelligence to ensure the final quality of the prepreg material. The predictive models will receive information from the sensorisation of the manufacturing process, relating them to the final properties expected in physico-chemical characterisation tests.
