Job Description:
A position as an Interiors and ECS Commodity Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid). The successful applicant will join the Procurement department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be the entry point of the suppliers with the company.
Implement the Procurement policy.
Perform market analysis (global sourcing including offsets).
Manage sourcing (CFT, RFP, etc…) & contract management.
Establish, implement and improve commodity strategy.
Contribute to monitoring & improving supplier performance:
Identify & lead value creation projects and support product/service innovation.
Sustain long term relationships with suppliers.
Ensure risk management.
SKILLS:
Educated in an Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
Experience in Procurement or in Contract Negotiation.
High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a network mode.
Be Agile.
Highly motivated.
Negotiation level in English.
Advanced level in Spanish.
German or French would be an asset.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Willing to work in an international environment.
Able to propose new ideas.
