Job Title: CMS Product Management Specialist
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Specialist to support the development of our Hospitality Platform CMS. In this role, you will be supporting the definition and execution of the product vision, strategy and roadmap for our CMS (content management system) within the Digital Guest Experiences product team. Reporting to the CMS & Platform integrations manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including solution architects, developers, UX designers, and project management professionals, to help deliver innovative and intuitive solutions that meet the needs of our global clientele. Your expertise in web technologies, user experience, and API integrations, will be crucial in driving the evolution of our web CMS platform to ensure its success.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Roadmap: Collaborate in the definition and execution of the product vision, strategy and roadmap for the web content management system. This will involve closely understanding business needs from our customers and internal teams and translating these into requirements for the UX and development teams. You will need to analyze and write detailed requirements clearly, engage in solution discussions and ensure quality in delivery, helping drive innovative and intuitive solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams outside our own group, including UX designers, solution architects, developers and project management professionals to ensure alignment with the overall product vision of Amadeus Hospitality, manage priorities and dependencies and help drive product development and enhancements.
Quality Assurance and Documentation: Perform QA testing on every feature before releases to ensure the highest quality standards are met. Maintain comprehensive documentation, including platform release notes and technical specifications. Collaborate with the release to market team and educational & development team to ensure successful product launches and user adoption.
Compliance: Collaborate closely with the security team to address and mitigate security issues, ensuring our products maintain a high security score. Engage with the legal team as needed to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations in our products. Continuously work to maintain and enhance the stability of our platform.
Product Expert: Support sales and customer retention efforts by providing product expertise and assistance. Provide technical assistance to support and implementation teams as a product expert. Conduct product training and presentations to educate internal teams and clients on the CMS platform.
CANDIDATE'S PROFILE
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant work experience:
Extensive years of working experience in product management, technical writing, or a similar role.
Experience with quality assurance and testing processes.
Experience with web technologies / ecommerce space, preferably in B2B and B2C web experiences.
A systems thinker with experience developing and designing enterprise software applications.
Experience in working in agile methodologies will be a plus (SAFe agile).
Business understanding:
Experience in B2B and B2B2C software product/platform business on various customer segments.
Understanding of platform ecosystem and partnership business.
Experience in Hospitality and/or Travel industry is a plus.
Skills:
Computing Technical background.
Experience with CMS Systems.
Languages: Proficiency in English; French and Spanish is a plus.
Specific knowledge: Strong understanding of platform development and integration. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Other: Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
