Job Summary: The Clinical Education Manager, Ortho, is responsible for developing and executing impactful educational curriculum and programs for orthodontists worldwide.
This role focuses on building clinical confidence and driving the utilization of the ClearCorrect aligner system and associated digital products with a focus on Orthodontists.
In this role, you will work closely with Product Managers, Clinical Advisors and other SMEs to identify customer needs and create relevant clinical education content.
You will also work closely with Learning Experience and Content Designers who will develop the clinical curriculum and content you provide into modules or learning programs for orthodontists.
Key Responsibilities: As the Clinical Education Manager, Ortho, you will be regarded as a subject matter expert with a thorough understanding of orthodontics, product/technology as well as the learner (orthodontists), their educational and training needs, and the evolving orthodontic market.
In this role you will be responsible for: Educational Program Development: Design and implement educational curriculum and programs tailored for orthodontists to enhance their clinical skills and confidence in using the ClearCorrect aligner system.
Customer Journey Management: Develop strategic clinical education initiatives that cover the entire customer journey, from onboarding to continuous education, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for orthodontists.
Clinical Proficiency: Create clinical education curricula and content aimed at boosting clinical proficiency and ensuring orthodontists can effectively use ClearCorrect products.
Digital Transformation: Develop programs that educate orthodontists in adopting digital tools and practices, facilitating a seamless transition to modern orthodontic techniques and ensuring effective use of the ClearCorrect aligner system's digital tools.
Practice Growth: Develop resources and strategies to help orthodontists grow their practice, including marketing support and business development insights.
Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from orthodontists and continuously refine educational programs to meet their evolving needs.
Leadership & Communication: Serve as subject matter expert and dynamic educator, with strong communication skills to lead lectures, interviews, and presentations across various platforms and formats.
Qualifications: DDS, DMD, or equivalent dental degree, with advanced specialty training in Orthodontics.
3+ years of clinical experience in orthodontics, including clinical experience with clear aligner treatment.
A combination of education (adult learning, learning design, or training and education) and equivalent work experience is preferred.
Experience in teaching, academic roles, or continuing education in orthodontics, with expertise in designing and delivering educational content.
Proficiency with ClearCorrect or similar aligner systems and digital dental technologies.
Strong strategic thinking skills, with a history of developing long-term educational strategies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and engage stakeholders.
Proven project management skills, able to manage multiple projects and deliver on time and within budget.
Familiarity with modern educational technologies and innovative teaching methods, including simulation-based training and digital orthodontics.
Customer-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional educational experiences.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Excellent computer and software skills (experience with Microsoft Office or Adobe Creative Cloud required) in graphics, word-processing, databases, authoring programs, etc., to develop presentation materials.
Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
