Are you passionate about financial markets and have experience in back office/operational areas and working with Clearing processes, operations and systems? Are you looking for a new challenging position to boost your career? Join us as a Clearing Architecture Specialist and seize the opportunity to work with SIX Clearing on a long term temporary basis (between 6 months to 1 year).
This is a key area in our post-trading business unit, which covers Financial Derivatives (including cash equities, FX, and cryptocurrency), Energy Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives (Swaps), Cash Equities and Bonds, and Repo. Within the SIX Clearing Architecture team, you'll join an international, diverse, and dynamic group of experts in clearing systems, products, and services. You'll have the opportunity to participate in various projects involving clearing, collaborating closely with departments such as Product, Risk, Operations, and IT.
What Will You Do
Study and analyze new requirements for Clearing system that are going to be implemented and define the corresponding changes to be done into the current systems
Implementation of solutions covering existing and new processes
Definition of Test Cases, execution and monitoring of business testing and ensuring proper testing before deployment into Production environment
Work in an Agile environment, working in sprints and having a clear idea of all the simultaneous running Projects according the Road Map
Run and supervise Test environments
Close collaboration and coordination with BME Clearing's Operations, Risk Management, Product as other SIX Clearing Teams, amongst others, interacting with Business and IT
What Do You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration. A postgraduate degree or specific training in Financial Markets is a plus
Between 2 to 4 years of experience in the financial sector, particularly in post-trading, back office/operations or risk management areas, with an interest and knowledge of financial markets and products.
Some knowledge of systems architecture and applications for Clearing area. Any 1st experience in project methodologies, business processes, or business analysis is a plus
High English level, both written and spoken (B2 minimum)
Knowledge of Office tools and some knowledge of databases (especially Excel, VBA, SQL) is highly valuable
Proactive, collaborative, customer-focused personality with an analytical, detail-oriented, and methodical mindset. Strong communication, teamwork and organizational skills with problem-solving abilities
