Position and Responsibilities As a member of a team of 2nd class operating engineers, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a 1st class power plant and site utilities.
You have an excellent understanding and hands-on working knowledge of boiler room related equipment, industrial refrigeration & chiller equipment, water treatment systems, and compressed air systems.
You are committed to safety and the protection of the environment.
You are a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
You are comfortable performing minor equipment maintenance and safety work clearances.
Work schedule is 12-hour shifts, continental shift rotations.
Education and Qualifications Valid 2nd Class TSSA Operating Engineer certification.
Will consider a valid 3rd Class TSSA certification that can demonstrate progression to 2nd Class A minimum of 2 years industrial experience Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency, accountability and ownership Excellent communication skills with a passion for safety and excellence Comfortable with computers, automation, controls and routine software (Excel, Word) Clear police background check $48.29/hour.
