#About the gig
As a key member of our Career Services team, you will play a pivotal role in empowering students to achieve success in their job search by delivering high-quality career coaching and personalized support. You'll guide students in refining their resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and job hunting strategies while fostering their confidence through engaging workshops and one-on-one sessions.
#Responsibilities
As a member of our Career Services team, you are the owner of our students' success in their job search, you guarantee the highest standards in their job readiness through individual and group career coaching sessions.
Optimize our job seekers' resume & LinkedIn profiles through thorough review and feedback exchange
Educate students on job hunting skills, pitching themselves and networking through sessions to ensure their preparation for the job search
Ensure student engagement and commitment with Ironhack in the job hunting process
Prospect and organize sessions with external speakers to offer our students knowledge from industry professionals
Regular check-ins with all job seekers assigned to you to maintain a solid understanding of their profiles, their progress and needs and build a strong personal relationship
Work closely with our teaching staff to understand student strengths and weaknesses
Be closely informed about the tech market, analyze trends and proactively take initiatives to update resources and create new content internally
From your operational experience, conceive, design and lead new projects and services to improve our students' success in their job search
#Requirements
You have 3+ years of professional experience in one of the following: human resources within a tech consulting/tech recruiting agency, Career Coach, 360 Tech recruiter
You have a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or an education-related field
You are familiar with the digital ecosystem vocabulary, local main players, and recruitment tendencies
You understand the importance of measuring the impact of your work and progress, while identifying inefficiencies and deriving action plans to address them.
You are good at giving feedback to people who find themselves in high-stress situations while looking for a job
Your expertise in project management is widely acknowledged
You are confident leading workshops, are a good public speaker, and enjoy being in front of an audience
You are organized, rigorous and reliable and have a real attention to details.
You are a customer-oriented person, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders
You speak fluently English; communication skills in Portuguese and/or French are a plus
