Job PurposeWe are looking for a Revenue Management analyst who will be responsible for maximizing revenue for a set of routes within Vueling's network. You will use different inventory control methods and tools to define the strategy and implement it to get the optimal fare for a given flight, according to demand elasticity. In this role, you will have the chance to gain a broad view of the Vueling airlines business with a special focus on the Revenue Management activities.
Main Responsibilities - TasksResponsible for managing seat inventory using forecasting models combined with recent data trends and knowledge of market behavior.Perform analysis of future trends including market growth, seasonality, competitors' actions among others, and proactively define strategies to minimize threats and seize opportunities.Effectively communicate route revenue performances to upper management.Leading innovation through creativity and analytical excellence.Achieving higher automation for the Revenue Management processes.Main RelationshipsThis role will offer great exposure to a wide variety of areas within the Revenue Management team as well as several departments of the Commercial area. You will be in direct contact on a day-to-day basis with the Revenue Management Systems, as well as the different Commercial team members (Network, Ancillaries and Sales).
EducationUniversity Degree (Engineering, Computer Sciences, Economics, Physics, Math, Stats or a Scientific degree).
ExperienceExperience in Revenue Management, market analysis, business management or a related field. Airline experience is valued. Experience with end users BI Tools is preferable: Alteryx, Tableau, Business objects, PowerBI or other equivalent tools.
CompetenciesExcellent analytical skills, including the ability to assemble information, extract pertinent facts, draw logical conclusions, and present recommendations.Ability to use data query (SQL) tools and to construct advanced analytics using Python.Good communication skills and ability to interact with various teams.Proactive, with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Results oriented and team player attitude.Resilient, able to adapt quickly to strategy, process, ways of work and industry changes.Very organized, extremely responsible, and careful with every detail.LanguagesEnglish: C1, Spanish: fluent highly valued.
