Buyer, Global Procurement Central Services DESCRIPTION Amazon is hiring a Buyer to be based in our corporate offices in Barcelona.
As a member of our Global Procurement Central Services (GPCS) team, you will support the EU procurement and business teams by delivering operational purchasing tasks and assignments.
MAIN SCOPE: To provide functional support to the Warehouse sites Procurement network for operational and administrative tasks.
This includes daily execution of purchasing orders and/or documents creation, invoice and supplier master data management, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: • Meet service level agreements (SLA) for standard tasks (e.g.
Purchase requisition compliance, Sourcing...) • Achieving assigned project targets/objectives Key job responsibilities: - Process daily purchase requisitions compliance, perform sourcing, remedy tickets and web requisitions - Process invoice and general procurement related queries - Point of contact for some outside vendors/manufacturers - Administrates Purchase Order process - Work in full compliance with the company Spending and Transaction policy - Proactively manage and decrease the number of invoices on hold (IOH), ensuring a robust procure-to-pay process.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - C1 English level - B2 French level - Knowledge in using ERP systems (e.g.
SAP, ORACLE, Coupa) in large organizations - Knowledge in MS Office - in particular MS Excel PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • High precision in verbal and written communication • Previous experience in shared service centers advantageous • Data analysis experience will be valued.
