What you'll doAs Business & Retailer Development Director you are responsible for the retail strategy (structure, efficiency, experience); retail business model changes especially in the service business area and Related Parties. You will have a multi-dimensional business view of new sales channels and service business. You will coordinate all necessary interfaces/stakeholders on Volvo Car Spain / retailer level, governance and compliance and corporate tasks (sustainability @ retail). This position is also responsible for business development within service business, where service workshop and infrastructure capacity; special tools investments, parts supply and logistics, service capacity and new service formats are all part. The responsibility also includes car service quality & performance making sure of technical training workshop & repair process, technical support interface 1st and 2nd line and technical warranty. As the Business & Retailer Development Director you will be part of the Volvo Car Spain Management team with a direct report to the MD and have the following responsibilities: Retailer/business partner operations - retailer processes, systems & toolsRetail Strategy – coordinate local plan, take to business partners, progress trackingNetwork plan & structure - retailer capacity and service formatsCar service business – service workshop infrastructure, technical training and support including quality and warrantyOperations platform – data, process, tools for right business decisions and prioritiesField force – business structure development/change management within service businessBusiness development transformation - holistic view on business; business transformation advocate (flexibility & speed & value chain; data driven business viability) within your areas. Do you fit the profile?We seek a confident and experienced (10+ years) leader with strong experience of transformational operations, experience from either Service Business, Retailer Development or from the strategic work with a strong commercial base. Experience in franchises and/or stores will be positively valued. You are both English and Spanish speaking and have experience directly managing other leaders and high-performing teams. You have a relevant university degree and several years of experience working with premium brands, strong business acumen with strategic and analytical capabilities and you are empathetic and persuasive with strong negotiation skills. Customer focused, strong expertise in leading transforming projects and having knowledge of retailer processes, systems & tools are among other skills we value. You are creative and enjoy to think outside the box, bringing innovative solutions and fresh perspectives to any challenge. This role also requires strong communication and collaboration skills as well as being results oriented, working towards goals and setting high standards for self and others.
