Your Objective? The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) serves as the primary liaison between the IT department and the various business units of the company (scope Cegid Spain: including various companies thanks to past and recent M&A). The BRM is responsible for understanding business needs, proposing appropriate technological solutions, and ensuring internal client satisfaction, managing a team of Business Analysts and system Analysts in relation within / in relation with IT Cegid Corp.
You will be responsible for: Relationship and Expectation Management: Establish and maintain trust-based relationships with stakeholders such as senior management, department heads, and end-users, while gathering and analyzing business needs through various interactions. Regularly communicate project progress and potential issues to stakeholders, and set up a feedback mechanism to continuously address their concerns and suggestions.Strategic Alignment: Contribute to defining the IT strategy to align with business goals, propose innovative tech solutions for business challenges, and help develop IT roadmaps in line with strategic priorities. Develop business cases for new initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis and ROI assessments.Project Management: Coordinate project planning, oversee execution ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines, and ensure quality deliverables through testing and validation. Identify and mitigate risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status and key performance indicators.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize business processes using new technologies, monitor the performance of solutions, and conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned. Promote a culture of innovation within the IT department and organization.Risk Management and Compliance: Anticipate and manage risks related to IT projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Raise cybersecurity awareness among stakeholders and coordinate with auditors to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field5+ years experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment, Proven track record of managing relationships between IT and business units and experience in managing IT projects from conception to delivery.Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of information systems, enterprise architecture, and emerging technologies. Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project). Understanding of IT service management (ITSM) practices and frameworks (e.g., ITIL).Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of emotional intelligence and cultural awareness.Languages: Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
