Description: The Business Intelligence Developer is an experienced professional working with data (analyzing, modeling, and visualizing). They will use Business Intelligence tools to develop, implement, and support both client and internally focused Business Intelligence & Insights dashboards. They will contribute to the creation of design specifications and provide guidance on the feasibility of developing proposed solutions. They will proactively monitor production of such Business Intelligence & Insights solutions and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Responsibilities: Participate in solution design discussions, contributing recommendations on how Business Intelligence requirements can be metEffectively follow solution design documentation and determine how they will approach the development of proposed solutionsWith only moderate support, develop Business Intelligence dashboards and reportsEnsure all development adheres to the team's development frameworkImplement solutions following the appropriate change and code control processes and tools. Complete all corresponding documentation.Monitor production of own and other team members' solutions ensuring production issues are quickly identified and analyzedWith only moderate support, identify and correct production errors related to overall team responsibilities.Communicate effectively with Business Intelligence stakeholders in relation to Business Intelligence outages and data governance issuesUnderstand potential drivers behind data quality issues and with only moderate support, investigate and/or leverage appropriate resources effectively to resolve even complex issues that occurContribute to the production of documentation that supports end-user knowledge of Business Intelligence & Insights solutions deliveredProfile: Must have at least 2 years' experience working on Business Intelligence development or related formal educational experienceMust have a proven track record in writing complex formulasUnderstanding of relational databases and an ability to write basic SQL queriesExperience with working with stakeholders on Business Intelligence requests would be an advantageSense of professionalism and the ability to develop relationshipsStrong attention to detailSelf-starter, sense of urgency, and works well under pressureAbility to prioritize and meet timelines on deliverablesProficient in Microsoft Office including strong Excel skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalPreferable to have experience working in a contact center environment for at least 2 yearsLocation: ESP Barcelona - Malaga Spain Client Site
