You want to drive customer satisfaction by ensuring smart, feasible and cost-effective software concepts with the leading Error Proofing and geolocalization solutions? You want to find solutions that further enhance the manufacturing processes of top of the art assembly lines? Then you are just right with us!
The Role In this position, you will approach all Motor Vehicle Industry customers (Car manufacturers, Tier 1 automotive suppliers, Machine tool builders…) to find opportunities and prepare quotes for high quality software projects as well as geolocalization solutions. These quotes include technical proposals and effort estimations in cooperation with our software development team. You will also ensure customer satisfaction, high profitability and orders received through intelligent concepts of our software solutions.
Your key responsibilities You are autonomously in charge of developing the sales of software solutions and geolocalization products from Atlas Copco for the motor vehicle industry in the SouthWest Europe Region, encompassing France, Spain, Portugal, Algeria and Morocco.
You are, together with the salesmen, seeking for opportunities via high technical level contacts at our customers, but also through walk the lines activities looking for potential efficiencies at their manufacturing lines.
You define, together with our Application Center in Germany and support from our product company, highly technical solutions to improve productivity at our customers.
You evaluate customer RFQ requirements and specifications and create software concepts with our software R&D team.
You make sure our solutions meet all customer requirements on a detailed and high standard.
You evaluate customer and end user RFQ requirements and specifications and create the most efficient geolocalization solution based on Atlas Copco product portfolio.
You analyze, define, and keep up to date market pricing of our solutions.
You actively participate in the strategy, sales and growth plan of the products and solutions you have in charge.
You coordinate cost and effort-estimations with our R&D team and consult our local sales teams in their pricing processes.
You evaluate offerings and estimate risks. In case of concerns, you set up internal reviews.
You provide feedback from your market to the product company to improve our products and better suit our customer's current or future needs.
You assist local teams in Software Service product definition, key issues of already installed solutions and launches.
You train and advise our local sales teams on how to quote to sell service contracts and in defining individual service concepts and sales activities as well as software solution concepts.
With advice and action, you support the service sales teams for service contracts and their renewal and the most effective way to sell them.
You also align the service master trainee content to train Software-field technicians at the local organizations.

What we expect of you? You have a university degree in Business Administration or Engineering or a similar education.
You have worked for 5+ years in the industrial sector focusing on processes, IT and networking installations or you have diversified Engineering experience such as Proposal Manager, Project Manager or in Assembly Automation.
You have expertise in selling Software as a Service and/or good knowledge of assembly processes and automation.
Experience in the machine tool business or IT companies would be a plus.
You have the ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and specifications in written, mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables plus a high technical problem-solving competence.
An organized and persistent way of working is natural to you and you are able to conduct various businesses in parallel.
You are energy-driven, a motivator with curiosity towards new ideas and new ways.
You are an open-minded person and experienced in working with different cultures and a global team player.
Knowledge in MS Office, SAP, databases and networks as well as in interfaces and industrial communication standards is required.
You are open to frequent travel (40%) to the customers of the customer center.
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills in fluent English, as well as Spanish or French, complete your profile.
