We are recruiting a Business developer in LATAM and the Caribbean for our international client, a global leader in design, manufacturing, and solutions supply in smart measurement . With more than 120 years of experience, our client has a wide range of solutions based on data, IoT connectivity software, and smart measurement, contributing to higher efficiency, sustainability, and responsibility for water and energy management. The Business Developer will report directly to the Head of Sales LATAM Caribbean Region, working in the field with current clients, as well as increasing the presence and positioning of the company in the LATAM region. 100% remote: Querétaro or Guadalajara, México MISSIONS Development and prospection of new accounts and customer portfolio in LATAM markets as well as negotiations and sales closings . Establish long-term relationships of trust with customers and distributors in the region covered by the position. Be a good representative of the company to customers and authorities in selected markets Plan, organize and implement sales strategies Coordinate with sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals. Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders. Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed. Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives. Create and implement processes and policies to support the overall business. Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business. Track and report on the status of proposal components. Conduct ongoing market research . Work with the pricing department to create rate proposals. REQUIREMENTS You have a degree in industrial technology/engineering, business management, or a related discipline. 5-7 years of experience Knowledge and experience within the technical field (i.e. industrial engineering) You have prior experience with B2B sales and a demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals. You are familiar with project management methodologies. You speak English (advanced or native) and Spanish (mandatory). Any additional language is a plus (Portuguese in particular).
