This is a key leadership role where you will have the opportunity to directly shape our product offering, secure high-value contracts, and drive commercial success for one of Spain's leading online pharmacies.Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work in close collaboration with multiple teams across the business. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our procurement efforts are aligned with Promofarma's broader goals and vision, contributing to long-term growth and profitability.Tasks- Supplier Management & Negotiation: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with pharmaceutical laboratories, distributors, and pharmacy purchasing groups across Spain. Lead high-level negotiations to secure the most competitive pricing, exclusive partnerships, and sustainable agreements.- Category Leadership: Take ownership of key pharmaceutical and health-related product categories, ensuring they meet consumer demand, maximize profitability, and align with our commercial strategy.- Hands-On Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for laboratories, developing robust partnerships and ensuring smooth execution of supply agreements. Your involvement in day-to-day negotiations will be key to securing optimal deals.- P&L Management: Oversee the Purchasing Department's P&L, setting clear revenue and margin targets, and ensuring that all procurement activities contribute to the company's financial goals.- Inventory & Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to ensure product availability, optimize inventory management, and streamline logistics processes for maximum efficiency.- Market & Data Analysis: Leverage data-driven insights and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions, anticipate changes, and strengthen supplier relationships.- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to align procurement strategies with business objectives, promotional activities, and customer demands.Requirements- Experience: 7-10 years in purchasing within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally within a distributor, pharmacy purchasing group, or online pharmacy setting. Experience in the Spanish market is essential.- Hands-On Leadership: A proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in direct supplier management and negotiations. You should be comfortable navigating complex negotiations and building long-term supplier partnerships.- Negotiation Expertise: Proven record of accomplishment of successfully negotiating favourable terms with laboratories and distributors, securing exclusive agreements, and driving value for the business
