Branch Claims Analyst

JOB SUMMARYThe Claims Analyst is tasked to process claims. This includes receiving information from clients and entering appropriate information into the claims database of the company.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESChecks documents received from claimant or intermediary and ensures their correctness.Encodes all reported claims in the GENWEB and sets up the loss reserve.Evaluates each claim and makes necessary recommendations.Assigns the claim to an independent adjuster if needed.Communicates with adjusters, claimants, the insured, and other parties to determine liability and coverage.Prepares in-house reports and computes probable liability if compensable.Attends to inquiries pertaining to the accounts he is handling and provides information as necessary.Maintains proper files for claims by collecting and organizing relevant documents and sets up new claims using the company system.Keeps up to date with insurance product knowledge.Develops plans for investigation of claims and gathers all necessary documents and information.Performs other functions as may be necessary to achieve the fulfillment of assigned tasks.QUALIFICATIONS:Not more than 30 years old.Preferably with background in Non-Life Insurance or Service Centers (auto repair estimate).Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Company Christmas giftFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insuranceOpportunities for promotionPromotion to permanent employeeSchedule:8 hour shiftFlextimeSupplemental Pay:13th month salaryOvertime payExpected Start Date: 09/16/2024#J-18808-Ljbffr
