Purpose of the job- Manage the T&C team
- Collaborate with the V&V manager to define the V&V strategy to be applied in lab and on field
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the QCD commitment of the T&C Work Package.Pro-actively manages the internal interfaces with Project Engineering, Industrial and Warranty, and the external interfaces with Partners, third parties and Customers.Deploys T&C process on the field and ensures it is applied by the T&C team within the project.Delivers T&C plans, procedures, method statements and coordinates staffing and training of the T&C team.Prepares and manages Test & Commissioning works on field - Material and tools, documentation, people, access, logistics.Ensures EHS compliance (Zero deviation), reports and anticipates issues.Manages the T&C team, ensuring EHS on field with guidance and support from the Project team member in charge of Project EHS coordination.Trains and supports people in T&C activities.Participates in Subsystem Leader, Engineer and Technician assessment of competency.Anticipates issues and reports/alerts regularly to the RC TCM and the PM on progress, issues and risks on the project (EHS, T&C work, System delivery).Ensures that all design-related issues are correctly reported in the adequate tools, including the defect description and associated test context.Monitors/manages QCD performance delivery (including EHS and Railway safety) of the work package T&C as per customer and solution/system requirements.Issues the REX on T&C activities and proposes updates/improvements of the T&C way of working/process/tools and the T&C Reference Library to optimize T&C performance.Performance MeasurementCommissioning Work Packages Q-C-D.Savings through Risk mitigations and opportunities.Ratio between V&V and T&C tests.Compliance to EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standards.Quality of anticipation, monitoring and reporting.Educational RequirementsMandatory:Master's degree in engineering (preferably electronics or embedded systems) or equivalent experience.Good knowledge of English language (read, written, spoken).Desirable:Any other additional language is an asset.ExperienceMandatory:More than 5 years of experience in T&C or V&V activities for signaling projects.Experience of management by Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives.Deep knowledge of multiple subsystems + system global view.Interface with customer or partners and internally V&V, Design, Installation stakeholders.Experience managing projects from T&C point of view.Experience managing resources in projects of T&C.Desirable:Previous team management experiences.Knowledge of ALSTOM rules and processes.Quality, EHS and Railway safety knowledge.Competencies & SkillsExcellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to fulfil the role of interface manager toward both customers and partners.Able to manage multiple teams in parallel.Quality-focused, rigorous, team-player.Flexibility and mobility, available for short or long mission in different locations and countries.Available to work on field also for night shifts.Resilience, with an analytic way of thinking in order to solve complex system failures.Customer satisfaction and results orientated.Ability to use new technologies and tools.Driving license.Alstom is the leading company in the mobility sector, solving the most interesting challenges for tomorrow's mobility.
