Responsibilities: The Associate Director of graduate studies in Law is responsible for the delivery and day-to-day management of the graduate programs in Law. We are looking for a motivated and team-oriented individual who is an effective communicator both verbally and in written correspondence. This role requires great organizational and management skills as well as the ability to manage multiple and different challenges every day.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Interaction with Students and Professors:Monitoring the students' academic performance and any other issues which may affect their academic life.Meeting with students to solve issues, offer advice, and/or give support with empathy and sensitivity on a daily basis.Reviewing and developing new procedures, academic guides, and other materials to achieve a more efficient working dynamic.Managing communication to the student body.Identifying ways to improve the student experience.Liaising with professors to communicate specific student or group situations, request feedback, and ensure timely submission of grades, syllabi, etc.Interaction with other departments:Coordinating and supervising key administrative processes throughout the year with relevant departments and team members: Exchange, Internships, Final projects, credit recognitions, etc.Collaborating with the Admissions Department, Marketing, Planning, Editorial, Student Services, Student Life, Registrar's Office, Maintenance Dept., etc.Overseeing the appropriate execution of the operational budget of the programs.Internal management:Assisting the Director in the coordination and implementation of new curricular and extracurricular innovations.Providing high-quality data and information to the director and tracking the measurement of student performance and achievements.Supervising, coordinating, and coaching program assistants and program managers with professionalism and maturity.Taking responsibility for special program projects, which may include components of program design and communications revamp projects.Qualifications: Requirements: Excellent command of English and at least an advanced level of Spanish.Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience, ideally in supervisory roles within the education management sector.Strong project management capabilities and data analysis skills.Excellent communication skills.Ability to coach and lead others.
