The team consists of 12 internal BBVA members (4 in the Red Exterior part) with extensive project management experience and strong technical and functional/accounting knowledge.
All team members have a high collaborative spirit that allows for the rapid integration of new members.
About the job: Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) is BBVA's investment bank. The IT CIB Accounting applications process daily financial events from Backoffice systems, generating accounting events that feed into the bank's global systems.
Accounting systems are key pieces as they provide a global view of the bank's economic situation and enable decision-making based on financial statements.

BBVA CIB is looking for an Associate to work on projects that enable the improvement and automation of accounting processes, being part of multidisciplinary teams. We seek a person with a great attitude and commitment to work, eager to learn, and with experience in managing people and projects.
Responsibilities: Participate in complex projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies with a mix of technical and functional knowledge.Participate in the Agile ceremonies defined at BBVA.Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams composed of both internal BBVA personnel and external members.Assist in the planning of project timelines and costs.Seek solutions to increase the processing capacity of current tools and reduce manual processes in accounting.Requirements: Studies related to Engineering or IT sector.Intermediate level of English.Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management with multidisciplinary teams.High level of programming in JAVA is required.Strong communication skills and assertiveness with team members.Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other areas to achieve project goals.Skill in dealing with technology suppliers.Desirable knowledge in process architecture.Skills: Ab Test And Personalization, Angular, Application Programming Interface (API), ASO, AWS Ecosystem, Chimera, Control-M, Database Architecture, DataX, DevOps, Enterprise IT Governance, Environments, Functional Designs, Integrated Development Environments (IDE), IT - Accounting & RedExt, IT Systems Management, Java, Non-Relational Databases, NOVA, Oracle, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, Python, Relational Database Querying.
