We invite you to join us on a critical and exciting mission! Your job will be to build a GenAI team tasked with establishing Generative AI video services for all OLX customer units (Motors, Real Estate, Goods, Jobs, and Services). This is a unique opportunity! You will be part of a strategic movement inside the company, building a team from scratch!
Your team will consist of 4-5 Data Scientists and a Machine Learning Engineer focusing on building and deploying disruptive Generative AI video services at scale across all OLX platforms. The solution should be capable of generating beautifully designed videos based on user-provided content in a cost-efficient manner.
You will be responsible for ensuring that ideas either are deployed to all users or die in production not surviving the validation. Iterate quickly, fail fast, learn, and improve. The power is yours!
What you will do in Data Science at OLX: Lead the Data Science aspects in the Video Pack.Build models, tinker around them to make them work, test them, and eventually deploy them to production.Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, translating their requirements into achievable projects.Collaborate with other teams, like infrastructure and data engineering to get things done in an elegant and timely manner.Work with Product Analytics to track the KPIs of different ML use cases and measure the impact for our customers.Partner with the Experimentation team to integrate the KPIs and their proxies to the Experimentation (A/B testing) platform.Work in multi-functional teams, in a diverse, multinational environment.Who we're looking for: You must be located in Spain.Very strong analytical skills.Solid background in statistics and modeling.Good knowledge of Python (experience with Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas).At least, 4 years of (hands-on) experience with Machine Learning.Very good knowledge of NLP and Deep Learning.Good knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).Good understanding of engineering best practices.Hands-on experience with SQL.Experience with MLOps.Proficient in English with excellent communication skills.Able to work in diverse, multi-functional teams.Nice to have: Exposure to programming languages such as Kotlin, Java, Scala.Experience bringing models into production and serving models at scale.Experience using AWS for deploying machine learning solutions.Experience with building data pipelines using tools like Spark and Airflow.Understanding of A/B testing and experimentation.Exposure to MLOps tools.What we offer: Permanent contract.Salary + annual bonus up to 20% of your annual gross salary.Work with and impact all OLX services in Europe.Train and conference budget and free access to Udemy courses.Health insurance and life insurance.MacBook Pro along with necessary accessories.100% remote work (and the possibility to work from our office in Barcelona).Why join OLX?
