You constantly seek optimisation opportunities on our tech stack and keep up with the latest trends and enhancements in the AWS environment.You monitor our applications and ensure the availability of all systems. When incidents arise, you are the first on the line to troubleshoot, communicate, and support the fixing process for affected services.You optimise the performance of our services by looking at data points collected in our AWS ecosystem. Can queries be optimised? Can caching be made more efficient? Can we route traffic differently? Those are questions you ask yourself on an ongoing basis to strive for performance improvements.You keep tabs on our security standards and ensure we are protected from attacks.Take initiative to improve existing solutions, challenge decisions, propose augmented alternatives, and address technical debt.Contribute to our roadmap creation process by supporting with estimations and impact analysis.Don't just code and pick the next task from your team's board, but understand the user pain points and business needs to ensure a high product-market fit.RequirementsA minimum of 5 years of working experience in cloud engineering.Extensive knowledge of the AWS ecosystem.Extensive knowledge of operating Kubernetes.Hands-on experience in building and managing microservices in the cloud.Good understanding of Service-Oriented and Microservice Architecture.Knowledgeable in SQL and No-SQL databases.Knowing Argo CD is a big plus.BenefitsFlat hierarchies and an open feedback culture where your active engagement in conversations and discussions is valued
