Active Safety Test Engineer

What To Expect As an Active Safety Test Engineer- EU, your main role is ensuring compliance with ECE regulations and theirglobal equivalents.
This includes conducting and analyzing vehicle-levelhomologation tests for European and global markets, coordinating teamactivities, and collaborating with design, homologation teams, third-partytesting laboratories, and regulators.
What You'll Do Generate and execute test plansfocusing ECE compliance, including new vehicle homologation as well as ongoingConformity of Production (COP) testing.
Conduct vehicle-levelhomologation tests in collaboration with global engineering staff, testingagencies and test witnesses.
Schedule test tracks andprioritize resources for compliance with regulations.
Configure, maintain, diagnose,and sign off test vehicles for safe testing.
Conduct and coordinatehomologation tests and pre-tests according to official procedures.
Follow Tesla test plans torecord, analyze, and report results, citing ECE requirements.
Coordinate calibration of testdata acquisition equipment and maintain records.
Coordinate design, acquisition,and customization of test fixtures and sensors.
Work on continuous improvement ofTesla vehicle-level active safety test procedures.
Support development andvalidation tests in various engineering fields as needed.
What You'll Bring Outstanding ability to multitask and coordinate multipletesting programs.
Strong data analysis skills with direct experience in ECEregulations and test procedures.
Ability to interpret regulations and communicate effectivelywith stakeholders.
Hands-on experience with vehicle testing on proving grounds,and utilizing sensing and recording systems such as: thermocouples,accelerometers, load cells, CMM, data acquisition systems and software.
Proficiency in MS Office, JIRA, MATLAB & Adobe productsand Understanding of measurement equipment maintenance and calibration.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
And validdriver's license and willingness to travel up to 30-40%.
