The Accountantwill be directly reporting to the Regional Finance Manager providing general ledger support and control of daily accounting operations for several entities in EMEAI. The successful candidate will be a proactive accountant skilled in managing multiple priorities while performing daily and monthly accounting activities to generate timely, reliable and accurate financial information.This is a permanent role and will be located inOviedo, Asturias, Spain.We are looking for a dynamic, quality and control minded team player with a strong accounting background to reinforce our regional finance team. This position is a unique opportunity to increase your financial expertise in a fast growing, technology driven multinational.Your responsibilities will include:Support monthly, quarterly and yearly closing cycles.Prepare journal entries necessary to complete accounting transactions and reconcile various general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and timeliness.Involve actively in the adequate execution of the internal controls such as manual journal entries documentation and control, as well as reconciliation of the balance sheet and P&L accounts.Process payments in banks and book IC loan interest.Collaborate cross-functionally with business operations as necessary in ad-hoc requests or specific projects.Support to fulfill tax declarations.Support projects and continuous process improvement as required.Support internal and external audit engagements by assisting with annual external audits by preparing schedules, documenting and explaining procedures and providing requested information as needed.The above tasks are part of the job scope.
