QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree ideally in economics, business, data analytics or a related field.1+ years of relevant industry or research experience.Demonstrable interest in and knowledge of financial services topics (e.g., retail banking, corporate & investment banking, payments, asset management, wealth management, fintech).Data and analytics driven; ability to manage large data sets with advanced Excel skills; VBA programming is a plus.Knowledge of databases and sources such as ECB, EBA and Bank of Spain is helpful.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively with people at all levels in an organization.Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively.Fluent command of the Spanish and English language (both verbal and written).WHO YOU'LL WORK WITHYou will be based in our Madrid office as part of our Client Capabilities Network (CCN). You will join a small team who you will be collaborating with on a daily basis. McKinsey leaders will provide mentorship and sponsorship and help you further build your capabilities.WHAT YOU'LL DOYou will leverage a solid understanding of business trends, issues and concepts to efficiently respond to complex research questions by delivering synthesized, actionable facts and insights to our consulting teams and clients. In this role, you will work alongside senior knowledge professionals on larger client projects and internal knowledge initiatives. By collecting and analyzing data and information found in databases and/or other primary and secondary research tools, you will assemble a fact base, counsel consultants and clients on the scope of the business and economic trends surrounding the issue, and provide insights and analysis for solving client problems at hand.
