JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a Specialist laboratory technician to carry out support tasks for a research project on melanoma, in the B•ARGO (Badalona•Applied Research in Oncology) group at the IGTP in collaboration with the Medical Oncology Service of the ICO Badalona.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biomedical Sciences or similar Master's degree in Genetics and Genomics or similar High level of English (minimum B2 level) Animal experimentation certification is required Previous research experience in melanoma Basic bioinformatic skills Proven experience in: In vitro cell culture: 2D, 3D and co-culture with PBMCs Molecular biology: quantitative PCR, Western blot Single-cell RNAseq Nanostring data analysis Highly valued: Having a defense date or being in possession of a doctoral degree Stays in foreign laboratories during the undergraduate or master's period The ideal candidate will: Have a strong passion for cancer research Be highly motivated and adaptable Be able to work both independently and as part of a team Have excellent communication skills WHAT WE OFFER Full-time contract ( Indefinido por actividades científico-técnicas- Ley de la ciencia 14/2011) Start date: 1st of December 2024 Gross annual remuneration inherent to the square objected to this call, will be fixed based on the experience provided and the skills of the candidate, distributed in 12 payments.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Joining an ongoing project involving the generation and manipulation of 3D cultures and cell co-cultures, as well as functional analyses in vitro and in vivo using animal models.
This includes Nanostring data analysis and participation in the interpretation of data from single-cell RNAseq analysis.
